Our Mission

Lekktura's Mission

Our mission is to simplify classroom management so teachers spend less time on administrative work and more time teaching students. Every workflow we design starts from a simple question: “How can we make this faster and clearer for a busy teacher?”

"Classroom software should reduce administrative work — not create more of it."

The Problem Teachers Face

The Problem Teachers Face

Most K–12 teachers juggle multiple systems just to keep up with daily classroom operations.

  • Grades tracked in spreadsheets or a separate gradebook.

  • Attendance in another system or on paper.

  • Behavior notes spread across notebooks, sticky notes, and emails.

  • Parent communication scattered across messaging apps and tools.

  • Teachers spend hours every week managing classroom data instead of focusing on instruction.

A typical week without Lekktura

01

Copying grades from paper to spreadsheets.

02

Chasing down attendance records for reports.

03

Rewriting the same parent messages in different channels.

04

Searching old notes before IEP or parent conferences.

Who Built Lekktura

Who Built Lekktura

Lekktura was founded by Dmitrii Kiriutkin, a senior UX/UI and product designer with experience building tools for educators and schools, together with a small team of educators and engineers who wanted to reduce the administrative burden on teachers and make classroom data easier to use.

The team has experience in K–12 teaching, educational leadership, and building scalable web applications for schools. Product and UX are led by Dmitrii, while classroom practices and workflows are shaped in collaboration with practicing teachers and instructional coaches who advise on how features should work in real classrooms.

Lekktura grew out of conversations with teachers who were maintaining separate gradebooks, attendance logs, and behavior notes across multiple tools and wanted a calmer, unified system. Today Lekktura is developed as a long-term, teacher-centered product and is actively used in real classrooms. You can learn more about the founder on Dmitrii Kiriutkin’s LinkedIn profile and about the company on the Lekktura LinkedIn page.
